Abstract:
Ceramic tuyeres are often part of the content of waste heaps accompanying the activities of bloomery workshops. In some sites, they form numerous sets that allow us to estimate the productivity of metallurgical workshops and can also help us in dating individual bloomeries. The paper seeks to present a brief introduction to this type of find in the Moravian Karst and the surrounding area, along with its comparison with similar objects in some surrounding regions.
