We warmly invite specialists and professionals to the Old Ironworking Workshop, which will take place from 20 to 22 May 2026 at the Old Ironworks near Adamov (Stará huť u Adamova, see mapy.com).
As part of the workshop, planned activities include experimental smelting in reconstructions of early medieval iron-smelting furnaces, blacksmithing and the working of iron blooms, as well as lime burning in a traditional lime clamp kiln.
For members of the general public, the event Slavs at the Ironworks will follow on Saturday, 23 May 2026. For more information about the public event, see tmbrno.cz (in Czech).
