Abstract:
The work, based on the diploma thesis, deals with the evolution of species composition using coal spectra from charcoal sites found in the Habrůvecká bučina National Nature Reserve. Forty-four such sites have been found in the area of interest, which served for the reconstruction of species composition in the past, by means of anthracologic analysis. The results point to a much more varied wood composition in comparison with the recent one, especially in favour of oak (Quercus petraea agg.) and fir (Abies alba Mill.).
