Abstract:
The contribution informs about till this time „unknown“ area with proofs of the traditional lime industry in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands which was probably at the birth of medieval castles Kraví Hora and Levnov and most likely it took part in development of an early modern period town Náměšť nad Oslavou. This area is Chvojnice brook valley in the Oslava river Nature park which was closed for civilians due to its partial military use for a long time. Making it accessible becomes a subject of a cross-country archaeological survey which revives forgotten past of Ketkovice and partially Kuroslepy villages placed at border of Brno-venkov and Třebíč regions.
