Abstract:
The contribution deals with all already archeologically documented findings related to the processing of silver and its compaction in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. It is not dealt only with remains of furnaces and forges but also with other findings such as ores, ore concentrate, various slags, technical ceramics, charcoal, lead litharge, the final product – silver and lead, and other records of production of precious metal. This contribution attempts to evaluate the artifacts of all kinds, from mining and metallurgical centers of 13th century, from the period of prime of silver mining.
