Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to the Archeologia Technica 43 seminar, which will take place at the Technical Museum in Brno on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
We kindly ask those interested in presenting a paper on topics such as the research of production features and technologies using archaeological methods, the documentation and preservation of tangible remains of technical heritage, or the conduct of practical experiments in the reconstruction of historical production facilities, to register by April 21.
We are also pleased to announce that this year, the traditional May events at the Stará huť near Adamov will take place once again:
- Workshop on Ancient Ironworking (a research-focused event): May 21–23
- Meeting in the Central Part of the Moravian Karst / Slavs at the Smelter (a public event): May 24, 2025
The exact date of the Autumn Smelt has not yet been determined.
